First of all let me have this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation to all the charity organizations and individuals for supporting “Emmanuel Church” to help the victims of the earthquake of 2005 and the flooding in 2010,2015. We together responded to the challenges by delivering much needed humanitarian aid and support to the victims of natural calamities.
You all have made an indelible impression on my heart. We are feeling whole and fulfilled after helping or giving something to the most vulnerable and oppressed people.
I being President of EC, admire your commitments of improving the lives of the most vulnerable children and women in Pakistan. I am thankful to all of you for the trust you placed in me during that difficult time. I was really touched by your act of kindness. It has given me strength and courage to carry on with my goal. I am feeling so grounded.
I can never forget the tears of those innocent children, who had no food no home; they were injured and shivering with cold. I can never forget those women, who were crying and wailing for they had lost their children and husbands in those natural hazards (earthquake & floods). I can never forget those elderly people, who could not move to save themselves and waiting for help from their loved one who had already been killed or lost.
You people made me feel that “We can see a lot of things with our hearts, which are otherwise invisible to the eyes”. Last but not least, without your social, moral and financial help it would not have been possible for me to wipe out the tears of the outcasts and give them smile on their pale and gloomy faces. Seeing the smiles on their faces makes all my efforts worthwhile. Once again I am obliged to your untiring efforts and selfless acts for making EC,s successful welfare organization.
Thank you for supporting me in charity initiatives.
Best Regard
Latif Masih
